Meet the 'deep sea whisperer' who hypnotises sharks

A shark whisperer has worked his magic on a school of sharks, and it was all captured on camera.

The shark whisperer - known only as Tom - has got a deep-sea predator eating out of the palm of his hand after hypnotising it by gently rubbing the end of its nose, Metro.co.uk reported.

While Caribbean reef sharks are not known as a 'man-eating' species they can be aggressive - but not in this marine mind-bender's hands, it seems.

By gently tickling the shark's nose, he was able to induce a state of "tonic immobility" - temporary paralysis, which lasts for about 15 minutes and causes no harm to the mammals.
