India's growth model should be questioned after seeing the sufferings of people from Rajasthan.

Due to absence of any alternative route, locals of Chittaurgar's Rashmi village are forced to cross Banas river to reach crematorium.

The locals of Rashmi village have told ANI that they have complained to authorities about their plight several times but have received no concerns from them.

"We have been facing a lot of hardships all the while. We have to cross the river for every emergency. We have tried to reach to the MLAs and MPs but no one listens to us," said a local.

They have been crossing the river, risking their lives from since last 10 years.

Another local said, "We have requested Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, legislator Prabhu Lal Saini, gram panchayat, Kapasan MLA and other politicians; but have got no solution for our problem. We have also given advertisement in various newspapers also about the sufferings."

The people are relying on hopes that they will get relief from their sufferings one day.
