Famous car company Mercedes is apparently not too happy with a mock advert that showed a Mercedes Benz running over a young Adolf Hitler.
According to the Huffington Post, in the video, which was created by German students for a competition, a car can be seen driving through Hitler's hometown when it is about to hit 2 girls playing on the road, Stuff.co.nz reported.
However, the car's collision-prevention feature helped it avoid hitting the girls, but it then ran down Hitler, who was running outside flying a kite.
Later in the ad, Hitler can be seen lying on the ground in the shape of a Nazi swastika, and as the screen fades to black, the tagline said "detects dangers before they come up".
The brand's rep, Tobias Mueller, told the US publication that lawyers had been deployed to order the filmmakers to include a disclaimer noting the ad had no connection to Mercedes.
