Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker believes that his side have not displayed their full potential till now and are still looking for consistency required to clinch their first Premier League title since 2004.
Earlier,Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil had proficiently played the role of instigator to help his side claim a 2-1 win over error-prone Manchester City and thereby helping his side to move closer to the title race.
Reflecting on their strategy, 31-year-old Mertesacker said that his side concentrate on one game at a time and try to prepare for it accordingly, the Guardian reported.
Mertesacker also warned other clubs, saying that his side were extremely dangerous on the counter attacks and that they could turn out to be a real threat for their opponents.
Suggesting the key to success, Mertesacker called on his side to stop thinking and start putting the plan into action.
Arsenal, who are now just two points behind top-placed Leicester City ,will play their next match against Southampton on December 27.
