Tom Hiddleston has finally spilled the beans on the story behind his dance with Taylor Swift at Met Gala 2016, which went viral immediately, causing a collection of GIFs and memes for the Internet to eat up over the last few days.
According to the 35-year-old actor, he was with the 'Fearless' singer on the same table when The Weeknd was performing, reports E! Online.
Being a musician herself, she was like "We've got to dance for The Weeknd," so the two got up and danced.
"It's a weird one [that it went viral]. I haven't actually danced for a long time, but I happened to be dancing at the Met Gala because it was a party," he added.
