The death toll in Mexico earthquake has reached 32.
Hundreds of buildings were collapsed and damaged, power was cut to more than 1.8 million people and authorities closed schools in at least 11 states for safety checks.
At least 23 people died in Mexico's Oaxaca state and seven died in the state of Chiapas, which borders Guatemala, while two died in the state of Tabasco, local media reports said.

The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the quake was 123 km south-west of the town of Pijijiapan, at a depth of 33 km.
Earlier, an 8.1 magnitude quake in 1985 had killed more than 10,000 people in Mexico.
