Ukraine's director of informational security, Vitaly Nayda has reportedly said that he is certain that the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down by a Russian.

According to the CNN, he stated that he has evidence that shows that a well-trained, well-equipped and educated officer attacked the plane deliberately. Conversations taped several minutes before the flight went down show that someone informed a Russian officer that the plane was coming with a constant speed in a constant direction. He also alleged that they must have known that the plane was not a fighter jet but a commercial flight.

The United States, who has also pointed to Russia's role in the attack, has however, denied Ukraine's claim. U.S officials said on Tuesday that the rebels didn't know that the plane was carrying civilians when they attacked it.

Although they stopped short of blaming Russia openly for launching a missile at a commercial flight yet they have claimed that Russians did play a role in bringing down the plane.

Moscow, on the other hand, has denied the claim and has instead blamed Ukraine for plotting the attack.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has rejected the allegation and pro-Russia separatists have also denied any involvement in the attack.
