Michael Oher is blaming the blockbuster hit movie 'The Blind Side,' based on his life, for his less-than-stellar NFL career.
The Carolina Panthers tackle, the subject of the 2009 movie and book of the same name, said after a minicamp scuffle recently that the box office hit has been negative for his career on the field, News.com.au reported.
The 29-year-old told ESPN that people take away things from him because of the movie and they don't see the skills that he possess' so the movie has been nothing but a burden for him.
Football was what got him here and the movie wasn't him, as he always knew how to play football growing up, he further added.
