Michelle Rodriguez reached out to late Paul Walker's family ahead of the release of their latest 'Fast and Furious' flick.
The cast of 'Fast and Furious 7' came together with his family to pay tribute to the late star at the Noble Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The 40-year-old actor was filming the seventh installment when he died tragically in a car accident on November 30, 2013, Access Hollywood reported.
The group also gathered to honor Walker's younger brother, Cody, for carrying out the work Paul did with the humanitarian relief organization he founded, Reach Out Worldwide.
Rodriguez said that it was a sad moment and "Pretending everything is just fine and dandy it's just - it's not real, you know? You know, the family goes beyond the work. You know, outside of the work we're a phone call away."
Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb had stepped in to continue his charity work, and also helped the filmmakers complete work on the film as Caleb's stature closely resembles Paul's, while Cody is his Paul's virtual twin.
The film will release in India on April 2, 2015.
