Microsoft has denied rumours that Ridley Scott will be directing Halo film.
The corporation issued a statement to deny reports that the director was working on a feature film based on the game, Metro.co.uk reported.
They said that they plan to continue telling the Halo story through innovative channels as the franchise encompasses many elements, including games, action figures, novels and more.
However, they added that there are no plans for a Halo motion picture at this time.
Steven Spielberg is currently working on a Halo TV series.
