In a bid to make profit out of the rapidly growing Apple market, Microsoft is reportedly launching an iPad version of Office.

The product will be unveiled during a press event on 27 March by Microsoft's new chief executive Satya Nadella.

According to the Verge, Microsoft has been building iOS and Android apps for some time, and the company is increasingly pushing its software and services across multiple platforms.

However, the software giant is reportedly concerned that its collaboration with Apple to develop Office version for iPad could jeopardize sales of 'Windows'.
