Microsoft is planning to make Live Tiles more interactive by adding more interactive features.
According to PC World, the features allow users to swipe through a Tile for more information and expand a Tile into a larger view or jump directly into specific parts of an app.
Live tiles are the foundation of the Windows OS and these tiles allow users to take a glance at information without entering the app itself.
For now, these interactive tiles are just a research project, and it is not confirmed whether they will be implemented or not.
