Former Serbia coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has been appointed as the new coach of AC Milan following the sacking of Filippo Inzaghi.
Earlier in the month, Mihajlovic, the former Yugoslavia defender, had stepped down as coach of Sampdoria after two-year stint with the Italian club.
The club said in a statement that Inzaghi has been discharged of his responsibilities as first-team coach, the BBC reported.
Milan finished 10th, 35 points behind champions Juventus, in the 2014-15 Seria A season after securing only 13 wins under the guidance of Inzaghi.
