Mila Kunis and hubby Ashton Kutcher have laughed off the claims that the actress stole a chicken 25 years ago from her "best friend" in Ukraine.

The woman named Kristina Karo is suing Kunis for 5,000 dollars to compensate for the therapy and distress she had to face after her beloved farm pet disappeared, the Mirror reported.

However, in a video posted on new app Meerkat, Kutcher says it was shocking that the 'Black Swan' star stole a chicken from a one-month-old Ukrainian child who spoke an entire conversation, that too in English.

Kunis added that she was "devastated, weeping and dumbfounded."

The newly parents to daughter Wyatt went on to suggest that it probably was a publicity gimmick, as Karo was releasing a music video at the same time, and Kunis joked that it should be her to file a lawsuit for making her watch that music video.

Kutcher, 37, ended by saying that he believed his wife, as she was an ethical person who wouldn't steal chicken.
