Taking to their Instagram stories, the teenage stars made the official announcement.
"The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual," Brown wrote in her Story. "We are both happy and remaining friends." Sartorius echoed the sentiment, writing that they were "happy and remaining friends."
Sartorius wrote, "The decision w mills were completely mutual & we are both happy and remaining friends."
The ex-couple has been reportedly dating for seven months. They first went public with their relationship in December, and teen fans swooned over their sweet Valentine's Day messages and romantic couple pics.
