Pope Francis has reportedly left the Philippines, concluding his six-day tour of Asia after drawing a record crowd in the capital city of Manila.
Huge crowds thronged the streets to catch a final glimpse of the pontiff as he travelled to the airport, reported the BBC.
Earlier, a six million-strong crowd had attended an outdoor Mass conducted by the Pope in the capital city, setting an unprecedented record for a papal event.
About five million had welcomed Pope John Paul II in Manila in 1995.
Pope Francis dedicated a part of the service to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which devastated the country in 2013, the Vatican said.
Philippines is home to 80 million Catholics.
