Warner Bros. has picked up the movie rights to Minecraft, one of the biggest video games currently out there.
Roy Lee, one of the producers of mega-hit 'The Lego Movie', is on board to produce the live-action adaptation, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
A video game sensation, Minecraft has sold over 35 million copies across platforms such as Xbox 360 and iOS devices since being introduced in 2009. And that's on top of the 14 million units sold for PC.
It was created by Swedish programmer Markus Persson.
