Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju visits Karbi Anglong in Assam to pay homage to the Superintendent of Police (SP) and policemen killed in an encounter with the militants in Assam's Hamren District.
The senior police officer was leading a raid, involving three police parties, against the Karbi Peoples' Liberation Tigers (KPLT) militants late on Thursday.
