Ministry of Culture's Doll making workshop concludes in Nagaland

A state, defined by its lush mountainous terrain, picturesque village settlements and rich cultural heritage, Nagaland is also recognised for its finesse in fashion and handicrafts.

In keeping with the tradition, a three-day doll making workshop, under Umang programme, was organised by North East Zone Cultural Centre, Ministry of culture at NEZCC complex from October 25-27.

More than 30 students from three schools from Kohima and Dimapur participated in the workshop.

The participants were mostly differently-abled people, who were either deaf or dumb.

During the programme, the children were taught about the basics of doll making.

Instructors of the programme were from Precious Me Love (PML).
