'Minority Report' to live on as TV series on Fox

Fox is turning the 2002 hit 'Minority Report' into a TV series. e project, which is set in a timeline ten years after the events in the Tom Cruise starrer, is set to follow the life of one of the freed 'precog' who is still haunted by visions of the future. The precog then meets a detective who uses his abilities to fight crime, reported the Verge.com.

Steven Spielberg, whose Amblin TV is producing the show, himself had directed the 2002 film and it is being reported that he has seen the pilot episode and the he liked it. He will be taking up an executive producer credit for the show.

 

Max Borenstein, who scripted 'Godzilla' is set to pen the adaptation, while Meagan Good, Stark Sands, Wilmer and Daniel London are set to star in the show.
