Miroslav Klose became the joint top scorer in World Cup history after his goal equaled Ronaldo's record of 15 goals in the tournament and also helped his team draw match against Ghana.

The 36-year-old Lazio striker scored came in as a second-half substitute and repaid German coach, Joachim Loew's faith on him as the Germans came from behind to snatch a draw, the BBC reported.

Earlier, Mario Gotze's got Germany ahead but Ghana's twin strikes in nine minutes through Andre Ayew and Asamoah Gyan caused problems for the German party.

Ghana still have a chance to qualify for the last 16 but will have to beat Portugal in their final game for that to happen.
