Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis continued their imperious form as they brushed aside their Chinese opponents in straight sets to reach the finals of women's doubles event in the year-ending WTA Finals here on Saturday.

The top-seeded Indo-Swiss pair outclassed Hao Ching Chan and Yung Jan Chan 6-4, 6-2 in the thrilling semi-final clash that lasted for one hour and 23 minutes.

The WTA Finals is an annual end-of-season tour championship, where the top-eight players or pairs of the year will compete against each other in two round robin groups of red and white.

Mirza and Hingis have won eight women's doubles titles this year, including two Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon and the US Open, since joining forces in March.
