Rashtriya Janata Dal chief's daughter Misa Bharati on Saturday put her foot down for contesting the coming Lok Sabha polls from the prestigious Patliputra constituency, hours after rebel RJD leader and his uncle Ram Kripal Yadav had quit all party posts following a rift with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav over contesting from Patliputra.

"Family relations will never break come what may, politics and family relations must not be mixed together, both has its own place of importance ." Misa said.

"I believe its time that new and young faces should take charge and hence senior leaders should make way for them to get a toehold in politics. Had I cultivated any ill feelings towards Ram Kripal Yadav, then I personally would not have taken the effort of meeting him and even offering my seat to contest in the upcoming General Elections." Misa added.
