Pakistani Test and ODI captain Misbah-ul Haq expressed disappointment in his side's capitulation in the fourth ODI against South Africa in Abu Dhabi, and blamed the defeat on his team's lack of mental strength.
South Africa took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series after a hard fought 28-run win in the fourth game in Abu Dhabi on Friday night.
According to The Dawn, Misbah termed a narrow one-run defeat in the first match in Sharjah as the turning point of the series saying that had Pakistan won in the game instead of failing to chase a modest 184-run target, then the result would have been different from what they are facing now
Misbah further said that he is disappointed that his team cannot handle pressure, with the report adding that the fifth and final one-day international will be played on Monday before the teams play two Twenty20 internationals on November 13 and 15.
