Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq reportedly mocked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Gaddafi Stadium authorities' parking policies as he parked his car in front of the stadium's entrance after he was denied entry by the security guards.

Haq arrived at the Gaddafi stadium on Wednesday with fellow teammates Shahid Afridi and Ahmed Shehzad in his car but the security guard refused to allow them entry into the parking area in the stadium and asked the skipper to park the car outside.

However, Haq chose to leave his car in front of the main gate instead of following the security guard's instructions, leaving no space for other cars to enter or leave the venue where Pakistan's squad is undergoing a month-long conditioning camp, The Dawn reported.

It reportedly resulted in congestion at the gate, as no cars were able to arrive or leave the stadium and almost quarter of an hour later electronic media released footage of the vehicle standing outside the gate following which the PCB high officials intervened.

Haq reportedly gave up his car keys reluctantly, before one of the PCB drivers parked his car inside the stadium.

Later, PCB official Col. Azam said that the security guard did not allow the car inside, as it was the PCB's decision to not allow cricketers to park inside the stadium because it was a security measure.

Only the PCB directors and other high-ranking officials are allowed to park their vehicles inside the stadium, even the vehicles of police force escorting chairman Najam Sehit are allowed to park inside the stadium, but the cricketers' vehicles are not allowed, the report added.
