Michael Clarke has admitted that 'the captain has got to come off the plane and contribute' if Australia are to bounce back from the 2-1 deficit to retain athe Ashes.

The 34-year-old captain has been struggling with form, scoring only 94 runs in his last six innings. Clarke was dismissed by Steven Finn twice for scores of 10 and 3 at Edgbaston, where England won the third Test by eight wickets.

Clarke said that they have been playing with 10 players, insisting that the captain has got to come off the plane and contribute, the BBC reported.

The skipper also praised England bowlers for bowling him out early in his innings but insisted that they could still win the series if they play to their best.

The fourth Test will commence from 6th August with the fifth Test on 20th August.
