UK authorities have banned a Coca-Cola television ad as it misleads viewers about how much activity they need to do in order to burn off the 139 calories in a can of Coke.
The TV goes on to feature various activities - such as "25 minutes of letting your dog be your GPS" and "75 seconds of laughing out loud" - to demonstrate how the calorie intake could be burnt off, News24 reported.
However, the Advertising Standards Authority complained that the ad doesn't make clear enough that all these activities need to be done in combination to burn 139 calories.
It claims that some viewers, who criticized the ad, thought only one of the activities was required to shed the calories.
