The Islamabad High Court has issued notices to the ministries of defence and interior, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and police on a petition filed for recovery of a missing person.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani asked the ISI representatives to appear before the court on February 3 when it will take up the petition about missing person Imran Sajjad, reports the Dawn.
Syed Ali Abbas, who filed the petition through his counsel Hafiz Arfat Ahmad against the alleged enforced disappearance of his brother Imran, urged the court to direct the authorities to find him as early as possible.
The petition said Imran could not reach his destination after leaving from a village near Chakwal on April 19 last year.
The petitioner told the court it had been learnt that his brother and his driver were in the custody of an intelligence agency.
Earlier, Imran's family contacted the Islamabad Police for lodging an FIR but they refused to register a case.

The family then approached the police authorities in Sargodha district as they thought it was appropriate to approach them since Imran was present here before heading to Islamabad.
Finally, an FIR was launched by the Sargodha Police against unidentified people for kidnapping Imran.
