Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor has caused a wave of reaction in the United States after declaring that he would kill unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather in less than thirty seconds if the two fighters are put face-to-face.
McGregor, who is a former Cage Warriors Featherweight and Lightweight champion, said that he doesn't look at a man who's expert in one area as a specialist, adding that he looks at Mayweather as a rookie in ten other areas, News.com.au reported.
The UFC featherweight contender also said that if one can box then what happens if he grabs hold of the opponent's legs. He claimed that if one puts him face-to-face with Mayweather -pound-for-pound boxing's best- and if he fought the American boxer, he would kill him in less than thirty seconds.
McGregor claimed that it would take him less than thirty seconds to wrap around Mayweather like a boa constrictor and strangle the boxer.
McGregor has previously claimed that his fight at UFC 189 against Jose Aldo for the featherweight title on July 11 would rival Mayweather's blockbuster clash against Manny Pacquiao on May 2 and he's leaving no stone unturned in its promotion.
