British athlete Mo Farah has been shortlisted for the World Athlete of the Year award and will face stiff competition from Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and marathon record-breaker Wilson Kipsang.
According to the Daily Star, Farah is the 5,000m and 10,000m World Champion and had a pretty incredible run of form this year.
Farah has also been nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award along with Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray.
He was recently, however, chased down by Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele in the last 400m of the Great North Run.
