British sprinter Mo Farah will miss next year's World Indoor Championships in order to focus on defending his Olympic title at Rio in Brazil.

The double Olympic champion revealed that the 3000m race in February in Glasgow is likely to be his only indoor race of 2016, the Guardian reported.

Farah, who hasn't competed in Glasgow since 2012, said that he felt glad to be back again, hoping that the race will also help him to set up for a successful outdoor season.

The 32-year-old will be aiming to defend his 5,000m and 10,000m titles in 2016 Rio Olympics.
