Moderate voting was recorded in 117 seats spread across 11 states that went to polls on Thursday.
In West Bengal and Assam, where six seats each went to polls, voting was recorded to be 70 percent and 55 percent respectively.
In Maharashtra, where polling was conducted on a total of 19 seats, polling was recorded to be 27.52 percent. In Mumbai alone, where polling was done in six constituencies, the polling percentage was a meager 26 percent.
In Uttar Pradesh, where voting was done on 12 seats, the voter turnout was recorded to be 46.77 percent whereas in Bihar, where voting was done on seven seats, the voter turnout was recorded at 46.55 percent till 3 p.m.
In Rajasthan, where voting was done on five seats, the polling percentage was recorded to be 47 percent while in Madhya Pradesh, where voting was done on ten seats, the polling percentage was recorded to be 50 percent till 3.30pm.
In Tamil Nadu, where voting is taking place on all 39 seats, the voting percentage was recorded at 60 percent.
In Chhattisgarh 41 percent voting was recorded in seven seats which went to polls.
