25 percent mothers have to cook up to nine different meals a day, a survey has revealed.
The Modern Mum Report, where 1,000 women were surveyed, one in four families treat the kitchen like a drop-in cafe, with mothers reaching boiling point five times a day, while trying to cope with their kids' fussy habits.
Marie Webb-Jones, who has kids aged 15, 13, and nine, said that shopping for food left her exhausted, as her kids have all different choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Daily Express.
Parenting author Annabel Karmel MBE said that mothers are working harder than ever to keep their families on track but are going through unhealthy levels of stress.
She said that cooking one meal is hard while juggling work, household chores and after-school activities but cooking 63 meals a week will take its toll.
