Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the Member of Parliaments to stop touching his or other senior party leaders' feet while greeting them at the party's parliamentary meet here today.

He also said that the MPs must be well prepared before speaking in the house and must have the right perspective on issues so that they do not strike a discordant note with the party's views, according to media reports.

The meeting was held in the Central Hall of Parliament.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley were also present at the meeting.
