Modi's Bhutan visit elicits thumbs up from leaders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's maiden foreign visit to Bhutan has elicited a spirited approval of his foreign policy vision among leaders here.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said, "Bhutan is in a strategic location related to northeastern states. It has given great importance to this visit and Bhutan's king is taking care of receiving Modi. This visit will strengthen Indo-Bhutan relations. Trade relations will be move faster."

BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh too said that, "PM has taken a great step by starting his foreign visit from Bhutan. It shows Modi is going to bring innovative transformations in foreign policy."

 

Prime Minister Modi is on his maiden foreign visit to Bhutan where he has been greeted enthusiastically.
