Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi will visit Rajghat on Monday before his oath taking ceremony and will pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
"Tomorrow I will begin the day by visiting Raj Ghat and paying my respects to Pujya Bapu," tweeted Modi.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has ensured a detailed security for the oath taking ceremony and more than 7000 policemen will be deployed near the venue.
The Delhi Police has also issued a traffic advisory for the motorist.
The traffic police has decided to close down Rajpath (from Vijay Chowk to Rashtrapati Bhavan), Vijay Chowk and its North and South Fountain area, South Avenue Marg, North Avenue Marg, Dalhousie Road and Church Road on Monday between 4 pm to 8 pm.

The Delhi Police has placed traffic diversions on some roads and locations, situated in the surrounding vicinity of Rashtrapati Bhawan, so as to facilitate the movement of the guests.
The roads are Raisina Road (beyond roundabout of Rail Bhawan towards Parliament House), Pandit Pant Marg (beyond roundabout of Talkatora towards Parliament House), K. Kamraj Marg (beyond roundabout of Kamraj Marg towards R.P. Bhawan), Moti Lal Nehru Marg (beyond roundabout of Udyog Bhawan towards R.P. Bhawan), E-Block, Security Lines Road, Mother Teresa Crescent, Sardar Patel Marg, Vinay Marg, Shanker Road and at roundabout of RML Hospital.
The traffic advisory further said that adequate signages and boards have been provided for the information of invitees and other road users, and all motorists have been also requested to adhere to the directions of the traffic policemen on duty.
