Undefeated American boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has said that he is hoping to cash in a 70 million-dollar pay day for his 36-minute weekend bout against Marcos Maidana instead of the 32 million dollars which he received.

The Maidana fight was the third bout in a six-fight contract 'Money' Mayweather signed with Showtime in February 2013 that has been called the richest contract in the history of sports.

According to News.com.au, the eight-time world title winner said that he is waiting for the pay-per-view numbers to come in so that he can make another 38 million dollars to add to the 32 million dollars cash prize, to make a grand total of 70 million dollars.

Mayweather, who earned about 115 million dollars under the first two fights, will find himself netting nearly 1,600 times the 2012 US national average wage index of 44,321.67 dollars if his 70 million-dollar estimate turns out to be accurate, the report added.
