More rain is expected to lash north Pakistan after flash floods submerged several villages in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.
According to Pakistani media, at least three people have died and hundreds of thousands have been displaced, reported the BBC.
Flash floods washed away roads, bridges and water schemes. Over 100 villages in various districts of Punjab were affected by the calamity, whereas about 200 villages along the River Indus were evacuated.
Floods, triggered by torrential rain, kill scores of people in Pakistan every year.
