England skipper Eoin Morgan has heaped praise over his side after they rolled into the finals of the ongoing World T20, saying it was his side's tremendous hard work and sacrifices that has put them in this position.
"Everybody in that changing room has worked tremendously hard and made all of the sacrifices in order to put us in this position, Mogan was quoted as saying by ecb.co.uk.
England bounced back brilliantly after their opening match defeat at the hands of West Indies as they went on to win four consecutive matches, including their seven-wicket win over New Zealand in their semifinal clash at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Wednesday.
Following the win, Morgan also wrote on Twitter, "Amazing team performance. On to the next one."
Morgan admitted that his side had taken the positive from their defeat against Darren Sammy's side and were hoping to take that into the finals as well.
"Since then we have taken the positives from the game and game after game we've played the most confident we've played and hopefully we can take that into the final," he added.
England are now short of one victory to clinch their second World T20 title as they will play either India or West Indies at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.
