England skipper Eoin Morgan has voiced his sympathy for Sunil Narine, who was ruled out of the World T20 after receiving a suspension for a suspect bowling action, saying that he felt bad for the ace West Indies spinner.

The 27-year-old was suspended after he was reported for a suspect bowling action for the second time during an ODI match against Sri Lanka in November last year.

Ahead of his side's opening World T20 clash against West Indies, Morgan expressed that he was sad to see what Narine was going through at the moment, adding that he did not want to see anyone facing such sort of situation, Sport24 reported.

The left-handed batsman insisted that Narine had been bowling the same way since his debut and that it was quite disappointing to question his bowling action now.

Morgan and Narine had earlier played together for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Narine played a key role in West Indies' victorious T20 campaign in 2012, grabbing three wickets for just nine runs in the final against Sri Lanka.
