Morocco have been banned from competing in the next two African Cup of Nations tournaments following their failure to host this year's edition.
In addition, the country's football federation has also been fined a million US dollar and ordered to pay 8 million euros in compensation for damages, the BBC reported.
Earlier, Morocco had demanded to postpone the tournament until 2016 over concerns due to the outbreak of the Ebola virus in Africa.
However, the Confederation of African Football (Caf) declined the request and named Equatorial Guinea as replacement hosts.
Ghana will face Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations final on Sunday in Bata.
