Charles Bronson, considered the "most violent prisoner in Britain", has reportedly challenged Mickey Rourke to a boxing match, following his "impressive" return to the ring after 20 years.

According to the 61-year-old convict's spokesman, Bronson, who had spent 40 years in jail, of which 36 were in solitary confinement, wants to "take on" the Oscar nominated star, 62, seeing his controversial victory over 29-year-old Elliot Seymour, the Daily Express reported.

Bronson, who has kept fit throughout all his years behind bars, and had even reportedly been writing to British boxing champ Tyson Fury, had been heard saying that he and Rourke must be about the same age and weight, and the rep added that a fight between the two would really haul the crowds in.

Rourke had recently triumphed over Seymour in the exhibition fight, by a technical knock-out, however, it is believed that the match was fixed to make 'The Wrestler' star look good.
