Chelsea football team manager Jose Mourinho claimed his first trophy since returning for his second spell as the club's boss and is determined to chase more titles after his squad bagged the Capital One Cup on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the final.

John Terry and Diego Costa did the damage, both with the aid of deflections, either side of the halftime as Tottenham's hopes of repeating their success over Chelsea in the Capital One Cup seven years ago never got off the ground.

The win gave Mourinho his first silverware since La Liga success with Real Madrid in 2012 and Chelsea their first since the Europa League final victory against Benfica in Amsterdam a year later. It was also the 21st of Mourinho's managerial career, the BBC reported.

Mourinho said that he is like a kid winning the first one, adding that it's hard for him to live without titles and he needs to feed himself with them.

Mourinho, who first managed Chelsea between 2004 and 2007 before returning in 2013, has now won seven trophies with the London club.

Chelsea skipper Terry, who scored just before halftime against Tottenham, said that it is the start of something, adding that they always said that they had to win trophies to be up there with the great sides.

Terry claimed that back in 2004 and 2005 it inspired them and kicked them on, adding that hopefully this would do the same.

Despite a career laden with trophies, Mourinho claimed tat this was the most important final of his time in the game.
