Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that it would be 'unacceptable' to finish the season without a trophy, according to reports.

According to SportsMole.co.uk, however, the 50-year-old warned that it is a distinct possibility with at least six 'strong' teams to compete with in the League Cup, the FA Cup, the Premier League and the Champions League.

Mourinho said that it is not acceptable to finish without a trophy, adding that it is also not acceptable for his philosophy of life, for the nature of the club.

He added that it could happen this year because they are competing against very strong teams and there are six strong contenders for every competition.

The Blues are third in the Premier League ahead of today's home game against Crystal Palace, the report said.
