Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes that his team would have emerged victorious over rival Tottenham, if they had been awarded a penalty while leading at 1-0.

Chelsea was trounced by Premier League rivals Tottenham 5-3 as Mourinho's men incurred their second defeat of the season.

Mourinho, whose side endured second loss in eight league matches, said that they had the biggest opportunity to score the second goal which was a shot from the penalty spot, adding that he didn't think opposition would have had a chance to beat them if they were leading at 2-0, the BBC reported.

Mourinho further said that he hates to lose but he prefers to lose like he did against Newcastle with a clean performance from referee Martin Atkinson and an unlucky performance by them, adding that it was a different feeling to lose in a game because of football.
