Manchester United manager David Moyes has said that he believes Liverpool are the 'favourites' to win the upcoming Premier League match, which he branded as 'the biggest club game in England', with the Old Trafford club on Sunday.

The defending champions stand at the sixth position in the Premier League standings with no realistic chance of retaining their title 18 points behind leaders Chelsea, whereas Liverpool stand at the second position seven points behind Chelsea.

According to Sport24, Moyes said that Liverpool would go into the match as the clear 'favourites', adding that the Anfield side's league position suggests that they are ahead of United and Moyes' men would have to do everything possible to beat them.

Moyes also said that it would be a big boost for United to win the match on Sunday and added that everyone knows the importance of a Manchester United vs. Liverpool game, tagging it as 'the biggest game in the industry'.

Although Liverpool have won their last four league matches, they have not finished above United since 2002 and despite their current chances of winning the upcoming match, Moyes reportedly believes that United still has plenty to play for.
