New Manchester United manager David Moyes has denied that there is a rift between him and striker Wayne Rooney and also said that the forward, despite a breakdown in relations between him and the club, is not for sale.
According to The Guardian, Moyes revealed he was enjoying talking about Rooney because most of the news about him was wrong.
The manager said he personally wanted Rooney to join up with England and said that the striker was not yet ready, which would also be visible in the game with Scotland.
The report said that United captain Nemanja Vidic questioned why Rooney would want to play for any other team as according to him, Man United was the biggest club in the world and there was no point to go anywhere else.
