Manchester United new boss David Moyes has reassured the fans of Wayne Rooney that the striker is not leaving the club.
According to Sport24, there had been heightened speculation over Rooney's future since his departure from United's pre-season tour with a minor hamstring tear.
Meanwhile, Moyes clarified that Rooney is soon going to come back to fitness.
Rooney's return could be timely after Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck both suffered minor problems in a recent match against Yokohama Marinos in Japan.
