Manchester United manager David Moyes is not ready to give the Premier League title hopes, despite seeing his side slip further out of Premier League title contention after a 3-1 defeat at Chelsea.

The loss has left Chelsea 14 points adrift of leaders Arsenal.

A Samuel Eto'o hat-trick guided Chelsea to a comfortable 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge and handed United a seventh league defeat of the season.

Moyes said that they not ready to give up, and added that the job is to try to finish first.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho also refused to rule United out of the title race.

United played without injured strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie and their problems increased when captain Nemanja Vidic was sent off for a challenge on Eden Hazard in the closing moments, The BBC reports.
