An angry mob set a bus on fire after it ran over an elderly woman and rammed into a tree in Madhya Pradesh's Dewas region today.
The lady was sleeping on a cot under the tree when the driver of the bus lost its control and it veered off the road, crushing her to death and ramming into a tree.
Around a dozen passengers of the bus were also left injured in the incident, which took place on NH-56 near Khategaon village.
The local police have reached the spot and taken control of the situation.
